Help Scale Climate-Friendly Buildings

Climate change is already costing us dearly—with devastating impacts on our health, economies, and environment. The buildings that we live and work in are responsible for 40% of climate-harming carbon emissions. With ongoing urbanization and development, building emissions are a growing threat and we have little time if we are to hold global temperature rise to 1.5°C. We have the solutions to build more sustainable buildings that are healthier for the occupants inside them, and the environments they are part of and these solutions MUST scale more quickly.

ABOUT US

VIBE's vision is for a carbon positive,
healthier, and resilient built environment.

VIBE is a Southern California based non-profit advocating for green building education, and the rapid scaling and expansion of green building practices since the built environment is responsible for about 40% of GHG emissions.  VIBE is working to help rapidly scale climate-friendly buildings with this crisis already costing us dearly including devastating impacts on our health, economies, and environment. With ongoing urbanization and development, building emissions are a growing threat leaving us very little time if we are successful in holding global temperature rise to 1.5°C.

We have existing solutions and technologies to build more sustainable buildings that are healthier for their occupants and for their communities - but these solutions MUST be scaled quicker as VIBE intends to do in 4 focus areas:

  1. Sustainable Properties - Optimize building performance, conserve natural resources, and reduce operating expenses

  2. Resilience and Risk Management - Create innovative tools and platforms to support resiliency and risk management projects globally

  3. Education and Research - Become the leading education resource for ESG and sustainability for the Commercial Real Estate Industry including currently writing a series of 12 Guidance Reports about ESG for the built environment.

  4. Collaboration - Create innovative tools and platforms to facilitate global collaboration on key sustainability topics, projects, and issues.

VIBE was created by Verdani Partners, a leading full-service ESG consulting firm specializing in sustainable real estate. VIBE was conceived to expand upon Verdani’s research, education and collaborative engagement platforms to accelerate our collective impacts for a resilient and sustainable global future.
